Pros
The science and phage technology has potential.
Cons
"Leadership" team is a joke. The founder/CEO (Yug) is clueless on how to manage, motivate, or lead anyone in the company let alone operate a business. Acts like a dictator, has a big ego, doesn't admit wrongdoing, zero self-awareness or empathy, you get the idea...Claims to be in it for the science and improving acne but actually only cares about enriching himself. Current COO (Neil) wooed his way into a role he was clearly under-qualified for, doesn't know how to operate/build an e-commerce business (was confused with basic ecomm KPIs), but is great at storytelling and sounding competent. One of the sleaziest guys I've worked with, has an even bigger ego, and is constantly power tripping. Has no grasp of digital marketing yet expects the marketing and growth team to report to him rather than having a marketing counterpart. Any experienced hire will quickly realize the org structure makes zero sense and you'll be learning nothing from him and he'll be learning/taking everything from you. Don't fall for the initial friendly smiles and interactions, time shows everyone's true colors. There's been extremely high turnover within the company for a reason. When the company does well, they'll take all the credit and when things go south, they'll try to throw you under the bus. Lastly, you can be assured growth opportunities internally will be limited, you'll never have a seat at the table, it's the Yug and Neil show.
