Almost all middle management on the contracts are selfish, lack technical competency, and perform under calculated mediocrity whilst refusing to take any accountability when deadlines are not met. Project slippage is blamed directly on the technical staff even when staff report repeated stoppages. Also, there are many schedule slippages due to siloed "planning" and gatekeeping. Majority have no emotional intelligence, lash out at their DRs and their peers in public, and privately retaliate their DRs when receive HR reports about them. Corporate should listen to the actual people and their customers, and immediately remove the subpar managers to then hire actual STAFF. This is the only way to alleviate the burnout across existing employees on the contractor side.
