1. Immediate termination without any investigation. Right after almost everyone coming back from the holiday break, Paycom fired 100+ (Allegedly) developers within 3 days (Jan 8th - Jan 11th). No severance package. Paycheck and FSA ends at the exact day when they fire you. All your insurance will end at the end of this month.
2. They fire everyone with the same reason: you don’t have HR approval for wfh when you should be on site. Paycom never talked about this rule in their meetings before the day they start firing devs. There were just rumors about leadership was auditing who was not in the office when they were supposed to. Nothing official. Even before Christmas, in the emails they send to developers they said if developer need to wfh, they need to get supervisor’s permission. That’s also what they had emphasized in their meetings with devs. HR is never mentioned. Many management roles are not aware of this rule themselves. Paycom didn’t give warnings before they fire people for not being on site even just for 2 days with team lead’s permission.
Briefly, I kind of doubt the loyalty and honesty Paycom has for its employees.
