Pros
- Large scale systems. - Many opportunities to learn. - RSU refreshers - PayPal Stock is doing really good - 401k match - free money - ESOP - free money - WLB - This can be a great step in the career. I got a FAANG job offer only because I learned so much from this job.
Cons
- After a while, the awesome WLB gets boring. And then you realize that it is work that makes you happy and not idleness. - Less salary compared to FAANG companies - Mediocre managers and directors. - Some people are very old and don't understand the latest technologies. I feel these people have made PayPal their retirement home.
