Pros

Fast moving, keeps up with the current digital world. Stocked kitchen with lots of snacks/beverages

Cons

Lack of diversity Poor management team - Management is very checked out and often takes advantage of flex hours and work from home privileges. Management will put down other people in the office in front of others. They do not advocate for their team or try to help their day to day/relieve stress. They will not go out on a limb for their teammates. There is no positive reinforcement and constructive criticism in weekly mandatory management meetings. Management is all talk, no action. Issues are not taken seriously but instead are just added to a lost list of complaints. Work environment is very cliquey - Either you're in the group, or you're out. Those who are, appear to be very happy as they're in the inner circle. Those who are not, appear miserable. Inter-departmental relations are very difficult - employees are unwilling to help each other as it would create more work for themselves Very poor compensation in relation to current market and workload Favoritism in terms of offices - C level management is in SF office so this office gets the best treatment

Pros

There is a lot of opportunity for me to work on all of their platforms (Lifestyle, Beauty, Health & Wellness, Home, and sponsored content)

Cons

I was the only designer on my team for almost 9 months because they wouldn't start the hiring process for some help. I had to work on all content on my own and work many late nights and holidays and was asked to add all these extra hours to a spread sheet. At the end, they did not accept the extra amount of hours for what would have been almost 3 weeks of comp days only to approve 2 days.
