Pros
Location, city views, grandiose events (big party people)
Cons
- Bribes employees with free donuts/pizza to leave positive Glassdoor/Great Place to Work/BuiltIn/etc reviews. - Lacks a LOT of professionalism. Toxic "coworkers are family" culture. Inappropriate comments of all kinds are the norm. - Pay is far below the market value. They convince you that the commission will be much more, but turns out you'll be lucky if you can double the salary in bonuses. After bonuses, most top performers are still only hitting a little over the base salary that all other companies pay reps. - No work-life balance, you MUST put in unpaid time outside of work to do well because you're expected to make call-after-call nonstop during working hours - Requires everyone full-time in-office because they micromanage and refuse to do work on their end to adapt to the hybrid/WFH culture that a large majority of companies have somehow figured out fine themselves. - Sexist, very few women on the sales floor. The few that are around are given no respect and not even glanced at for any leadership opportunities. - You are just a number and leadership is not shy to remind you of that. You can expect to hear that there are tons of people out there willing to do the work and that your seat can always be replaced at least once in your career here, even if you're a top performer with one bad month.
