Pros

A couple of the people that I met, but very few! Pay was great when I actually was doing the job that I got hired for.

Cons

1. The companies upper management is very biased to their British employees over their American employees. 2. They encourage you to lie to potential clients to get a sale. 3. The SVP of Sales and Marketing says to get all sales by "hook or by crook". 4. The Managing Director/CEO is highly unprofessional and rude. I have witnessed him throw an entire lobster at an employee's head and the manager of the restaurant for no reason at all. 5. They use their BDM's as their personal transportation when they are in America, and if you say no, then they wont give you appointments as punishment. 6. They force us to have the other employees on ride along with us. This normally wouldn't be a bad thing, but one of them (trainer) has zero true sales experience in the credible world (Used car salesman mentality), and he ruins the meetings more often than not. Also, his breath is by far the worst thing I have ever smelt in my entire life. My wife actually makes me get undressed in the garage before I am allowed to come in the house after he has been in my car with me, and I have to spend $120 to get the inside detailed. 7. They NEVER pay you what you are owed, and when you ask them about it, they tell you that the money was sent, and that we need to learn how to access our bank accounts correctly. 8. They say that you will have 3-5 "Pre-Qualified" meetings per day, but over 90% of the meetings that you go to will not know that you are coming, and when you don't sell them, they blame it all on you and they will call you a terrible salesman. 9. Management loves pointing fingers, and does not take responsibility for any of their own shortcomings. 10. The way they determine if you are a good salesman is based off of a "Phantom Number". What I mean by this is that if you had 25 "pre-qualified" and "confirmed" appointments in one week that you actually went to, and you were only physically able to conduct/see 5 of them (Closing deals on 4 of them), then instead of them saying that you closed 4 of 5 appointments (80%), they will say that you only closed 4 out of 25 appointments (16%)..... even if the decision maker had no idea that you were coming there in the first place, or they were not there when you showed up. This is massive because they only give appointments to you if you have an average sale per appointment of $50+. This means if those 4 of 5 sales were each $200 ($800), then you would consider your average sale per appointment to be $160 (well over their expected $50). But they translate this as you only closing 4 out of 20, which would give you an average sale per appointment $32. They will then say that you need training, and that you have to schedule your own appointments until you get your number above $50 per appointment. I could keep going, but I need to get back to work before they call me and actually YELL at me for not closing deals. I had 4 "confirmed" appointments scheduled today, and so far, zero out of 3 were even there. And YES, that drops my Average sale per appointment number even more. Don't worry about me though, I have been offered a new position with a credible company, so I will be out of here in a couple days. Do yourself a favor and don't let them lie to you and convince you to leave your job for them. If you do, you will say in a very short amount of time the following..... "I wish I would have listen to him!!"

Pros

It all sounds great from the “ Inside Recruiter” till they have you. They make the interview process feel hard thinking you’re going to work for the best. It’s all a show. All these positive reviews are all influenced by the company with perks. They def know how to party hard! The British way! Ever hear of Euro trash. But that’s common for a company that the average age worker is in his 20s

Cons

This company is a Joke. They l will find anyway to hold back your money and brag how much the CEO and managers make. The management lives off your hard work and ride you like a slave. They waste tons of money of to make them look like they’re the best. If you have a family get ready to spend over 1,200 for the ins plan. What kind of company keeps asking you to donate for them to look good. Last but not least take a look at how many people leave within the first 2 years. Pretty sad for a company who claims to have 20 years going. If you take without coming to work here think again unless it’s a very short future plan. They made a friend spend her own money to travel to meet and never even called back. JOKE but don’t worry they will send another positive review to make up for the bad reviews

Pros

Really good product, nice offices, great games room, good social life if that's what you want within your workplace.

Cons

Not sure where to start as there are that many........ Alarm bells should've been ringing from the start after PHMG's internal recruiters (Who contacted me to work for them by the way) weren't honest from the start regarding hours that were required in the MDE role. , despite being involved in a sales environment for a number of years. The contracted hours were 8:30am-6pm but you were expected to be in for 8am and stay later than 6pm. If you didn't, it was frowned upon. If you didn't do this, you were expected to do more work at home during the evenings and at weekends where you were expected to do your own sourcing. I agree with the Managers that this does make life easier for yourself within the job but the pressure put upon you for this is unreal. As one previous review said, you could spend a couple of hours on a Sunday evening doing this 'sourcing', get as many as 200 leads to put through for yourself, only to be told on the Monday morning that you can only call 15 of them. In the 7 months that I worked here, I basically had no life outside of this place, I was setting off for work at 6am, getting home at 8pm, sourcing for leads before bed everyday between Monday and Friday. Add Sunday evening on to this as well. You were then expected to go out for drinks on the Friday night, awkward atmosphere with certain people on the Monday if you didn't. You then may have had a charity function/event to attend on the Saturday or Sunday on top of this, that you were expected to attend too. YCNMIU! The atmosphere can be good at times in the office but you don't dare look at a Manager/Team Leader the moment you end a call as you will be asked 'Why are you not on the phone?' Oh and don't ever be on hold on a call either as you will be asked why you're not on the phone? Make sure you stand up when pitching too as you need to announce to the whole of the floor that you are on the phone to a prospect. Sitting down, pitching in what may be your natural way and the way that you feel you get the best results is not tolerated so make sure you are prepared to stand up and pitch for the majority of your day. You are basically treated like a child in this respect. A 'Revolving door' is definitely a way to describe this place, the amount of times you'd see one of your colleagues making the dreaded walk of death to a side office to get given their marching orders, with the Manager coming back seconds later to collect their coat and belongings for them. This seemed to happen at least a couple of times per week in this place. As said by other reviews, extra training was done within your lunch break and even on a Saturday (This is no lie). There is just no need to constantly belittle staff in front of people. Your staff know if they're not performing or producing the goods but the constant need to make people feel so bad for not hitting targets is not on. This is an opinion shared by people who still work there. Some of these Managers here lack serious people skills. The constant need to shave every morning, it is absolutely ridiculous. I get the need that they don't want scruffs working in their office but if you're shaving once every couple of days to keep the facial hair presentable, that should be more than enough. No, these want you to shave just the very second before you leave your house in the morning and they can tell (Trust me, they can) if you dare have your last shave the night before. Bare minimum of 20 days annual leave is given and you are made to feel like you have just been to the toilet on the bosses desk when requesting a holiday. I'm not sure if the good reviews on here are fake and but I would not be at all surprised if they are as I find it hard to believe that as many people as this are as happy as what these reviews have made them out to be.
