Pros

Competitive pay, decent PTO accrual, 5 CME days, and decent insurance if you don’t mind UHC

Cons

Poor work life balance, constantly bringing work home because of the overwhelming number of tasks yet corporate doesn’t seem to to care because they cut down our admin time, little support staff (often let go by the company), most visits are 20 min even when they shouldn’t be (ex preop who needs ekg, labs, and chest xrays), patients wait forever to be seen because upper heads refuse to hire more providers, no referral coordinator so now our MAs are even more over worked, you are basically set up to be over worked and fail

Chronic understaffing that leads to constant burnout Leadership behavior is inconsistent, unaccountable, and often dismissive Nepotism heavily influences promotions and opportunities Raises and bonuses are rare or nonexistent despite increasing workloads Workload expectations are unrealistic and unsustainable Company talks about mental wellness but does not practice it internally Extremely limited EAP benefits that offer little real support Employees are not acknowledged, respected, or meaningfully recognized High turnover due to poor culture and lack of investment in employees
