Pros

The company will probably always be remote in some capacity

The company is losing money. Yesterday, they went through another round of cuts (after telling employees they were aggressive enough with their first round of cuts in March). They also are pushing people to quit by dropping their salaries by 60% and having them work three days a week instead. I doubt anyone will have a true three-day work week as the work-life boundaries here are abysmal (I've had calls with people actively on vacation). They spent the early part of the year sponsoring rugby teams and poaching high-level executives from other large companies that have offered little in terms of revenue or basically any action at all. Any regular level employees have zero access to HR and manager 1x1's regularly get canceled with the promise of a rescheduling that never happens. In terms of team members, while there are some great people, it is a nepotistic nightmare and chances are if someone knows someone, they're less likely to be held accountable. In terms of transparency, there is none. Upper management waits until Tuesdays during active events to let people go (this has happened twice now and it absolutely blows my mind that they thought this was a good idea twice). They seem to be hemorrhaging and it's clear that anyone left behind will have a much higher workload than before.

Evolving processes — Some workflows and systems are still being refined, which can lead to ambiguity or rework at times. Documentation gaps —There is no Formal documentation of process or flows Resource constraints — Smaller teams mean wearing many hats, which is great for growth but can feel stretched during peaks.
