Pros

Some of the colleagues are very nice and helpful

Everything about working at ONCALL was horrific, from the incredibly low salary to the management who does not know your name and has no knowledge about the kind of work is carried out. Employees are often asked to carry out tasks that are outside of their job description ( translation PMs asked to translate) as everything is about saving money. Management is abusive, ignorant and has no care for the well-being of their employees. There is NO opportunity to have career progression, people are moved to different teams just to fill in the gaps even if they have no experience or knowledge of tasks that are given to them. Holidays are cumulative so it can be very hard to have enough days to take a long holiday, employees are often asked to work bank holidays even if it's not specified in the contract. There are no benefits, they do not pay maternity leave and often refuse to accept annual leave requests. I can confidently say ONCALL's management is horrific and will surely be the worst company I've ever worked for. Do yourself a favour and don't work here.

Pros

There are few people with good intentions, this is not a reason to stay.

Cons

They make promises about things they do not intend to fulfill, such as providing insurance or establishing branches in your country. They do not offer any legal contracts, which allows them to avoid legal responsibilities towards employees from underdeveloped or developing countries, enabling them to hire you at a minimal cost. They micromanage every aspect of your work, which prevents your ability to perform in your area of expertise. They present themselves as a UK-based company and operate in Northern Cyprus under the name of a shell company, MusTek Call Connect LTD (once they lost a CD from their UK customers for not paying the rent for their virtual office). Finally, the administration lacks a proper understanding of the translation process, leading them to intimidate you by claiming that you are working less than employees in other branches.

Nice team. Responsive. Use an online portal for timesheets which is efficient.

Cons

Do not pay mileage, and base pay is very low.
