Pros
The marketing team was very flexible with PTO and work-from-home days. Hybrid work schedule was a huge plus for work-life balance. Team culture encouraged idea-sharing — “no ideas are bad ideas” was genuinely practiced. Upper management changed shortly after I left, and I’ve heard more positive things about the company since then.
Cons
Mixed experience with my direct report — I appreciated their guidance in my career, but their communication style was often rude and unprofessional. I heard similar experiences from their other direct reports. "Upper management coasting" for sure. The work environment was chaotic, with last-minute projects, unrealistic expectations, and little clarity from leadership. Assistants and Associates, were severely underpaid for the workload and responsibilities (e.g., $20/hour to manage an entire ambassador program?). Very limited opportunities for growth or promotion — advancement often felt unclear or unattainable, even for high-performing employees.
