Pros

- Good pay (although not as good as big tech) - Lunch vouchers - Code quality

Cons

- Bosses micromanage, speak very loudly, always pressing and pushing people - Work from office every day, and it won't change anytime soon - Mandatory 10% ratio of employees get fired every 6 months, leaving most people fearful (except managers who are immune to it) - No discussions about career advancement, no feedback - Chinese spoken all day by most of the engineers and managers, with no regard for anybody else that doesn't speak it - People get promoted solely based on their relationship with their manager. There is no performance review report or anything, just one or two sentences that say nothing - Dinner voucher is just a trick to get people to stay in office every day past 7pm, and it works. Leave at 6pm and you'll get side looks (and eventually get a warning from your manager) - Office is super cramped. Many new hires are sitting at common tables and have make-shift setups or none at all - You never hear from upper management, only maybe once a year and it's usually an uninteresting and unprofesionnal speech

Pros

Pay was good. There were a lot of talented people who cared about doing a good job.

Cons

Restructuring was continual. Extremely high turn over. Lack of actually wanting to do the right thing.
