It’s not company level, but from a unit based standpoint some of our middle management plays favorites and you can sense where you stand. I wish they were more neutral and fair when interacting with everyone who works in the unit. Also, it’s kind of intimidating being new when I first started. I felt unwelcome and like I was intruding when interacting with some of my new coworkers. It’s improved greatly over time, but it felt like I had to prove myself before anyone would open up or offer to help me out when I was new. It shouldn’t have to be this way.
