Pros
1) Great culture, entrepreneurial, friendly, generally humble and team-oriented employees, no one believes they are superior or smarter than their peers despite some being extremely successful. 2) Industry is extremely meritocratic, so after proving yourself either Noble is forced to give you your due responsibility and pay, or another company will. 3) Very international office and good diversity, fun office. 4) Ideas are everything, flat organization and comparatively low politics, a junior person with conviction and reasoning can have a big impact. Profit talks not rank or longevity, there is more at stake than someone's ego or feelings getting hurt. 5) Slightly easier to rise up and try something different than other companies. 6) good benefits
Cons
1) Recently getting bogged down in protocol, it's hurting how quickly business gets executed. 2) Turning more into a bank, lots of paper pushers and silly rules like stricter office dress code which are not relevant to the fundamental business. 3) Goes through periods of cost cutting, where even small necessary expenses are scrutinized and sometimes eliminated. Management needs to sweat the smaller things less so they can sweat the bigger things such as risk allocations and trade strategies more.
