Pros
The owners need to stop misleading customers and delivering substandard, fake services. They’ve poured money into a new office refresh but haven’t finished it to any acceptable standard, seemingly prioritizing two electric Porsches over creating a proper, functional workplace.
Cons
My experience with this business was extremely poor. In my view, the company operates more like a lifestyle business for its owners than a professionally managed IT and cybersecurity provider. The organisation appeared disorganised, poorly led and lacking in accountability, structure and meaningful investment in its people. I had serious concerns about the quality and accuracy of Cyber Essentials work being delivered, including whether some assessments genuinely reflected customers’ actual security position. There also appeared to be a significant gap between the services customers were promised and what was ultimately delivered. Long-serving employees often seemed to have been given limited authority, development or opportunity to influence how the business was run. In my opinion, several capable members of staff were undervalued and underpaid, and may not fully appreciate how much more they could achieve in a better-led organisation. Communication was poor, decision-making was inconsistent and the overall operation frequently felt chaotic. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that prospective customers carry out thorough due diligence, request clear evidence of all cybersecurity work completed and independently verify any certifications or audit outcomes.
