Pros
Neptune makes genuinely impressive products and has a strong brand, but for many companies in the interiors industry the last couple of years have been tough. Things are on the up now, and there has been huge focus on employee wellbeing and making concrete improvements to how the business operates. These things take time and not all the results will be felt instantaneously, but the progress is clear. My team are close-knit, hard-working and great fun to work with, and my manager is forward-thinking, flexible and hugely supportive. The new members of the Senior Leadership Team are bringing outside knowledge and expertise into the business, which has been needed, and I can see the potential for what can be achieved over the next year.
Cons
Progress still needs to be made on how departments communicate with each other as some are still working in silo rather than collaboratively. It can sometimes feel like there is a lack of appreciation between teams for what other people are doing, this will hopefully improve as communication improves.
