      Putting profit before people

      Pros

      Great team to work with in store.

      Cons

      More redundancies making staff feel unsettled and demotivated. Very poor pay compared to many other retailers. Heating not being repaired, money not being invested in stores. HQ shouting about making a profit and yet refuse to give pay rises. Preach that they’re a company of integrity and yet don’t seem to know how to treat their staff so they stay.

      Pros

      Hard to find any pros other than the company has an amazing heritage that it's currently piggybacking on.

      Cons

      Management is worse than ever, largely completely incompetent. I wouldn't even hire them as my junior they are that unqualified. Manufacturing doesn't align with marketing. The Chinese production is some of the worst quality it's been in years. Botched decision after botched decision. The only thing getting the company by is it's amazing heritage and deathly loyal customer base. But even that won't save it for long with the way things are currently going. Values don't align with direction. The CEO preaches quality yet allows the Chinese production to decrease the quality endlessly. The products are now just a cheap imitation of what they were a few years ago.
