Pros
The company has a meaningful vision and is clearly a market leader in some spaces. Remarkably agile for such a large company. Lots of investment and hiring. The work environment and pay are good. The 'cool factor' of working for a reasonably well recognised consumer brand, at least in certain geeky circles.
Cons
Somewhat chaotic group structure made it unnecessarily difficult to find out who was doing what on other sites. Culture is very HQ-centric. Our group didn't fit with the vision, so was left to drift with no clear strategy for a long time. Some Internal IT systems are a bit of a mess: nvbugs (home-grown bug tracking system) I am looking at you.
