Pros
- If you only view this company as a short-term paid internship for music industry experience then you will be ok... - You will meet some great people with a shared love for music
Cons
- Little to no credibility across the music industry making it difficult to generate opportunities for artists - Little room for real career growth although you will be promised this at your interview and performance reviews - Overworked past your agreed roles/responsibilities and working past your contracted hours under the guise of being a team player with zero reward - The marketed company successes from the past few years have been created from individual efforts of hard-working employees who are unlikely to still be there for obvious reasons, don't be fooled thinking this is the company standard! - Having to constantly defend immoral and unethical practices on behalf of the company when dealing with artists/clients (who you are meant to be empowering) such as over-promising results to generate sales and unsurprisingly under-delivering on them due to the lack of resources and industry clout - Unrealistic statistical and monetary targets stressing out employees - Consistent late pay with no warning from CEO or senior management. Beware if you have fixed outgoings. - Missing pension payments that you won't get any clarity on when asked about - CEO is all over the place posing as a music mogul, but in reality, overstates the diminishing company value to the music industry with a typical boomer mindset of sales sales sales etc.
