      Good team to work with is the only upside

      Cons

      Overworking their staff to the bone No respect for a life-work balance at all Overbooking events with 100 people for a tiny bar and restaurant with around 4/5 staff on shift Under-qualified accounts team underpaying employees and making up excuses as to why it happens Disrespectful/belittling events and accounting teams An awful, horrid, depressing working environment No free staff meals on shift, and even when you pay sometimes they say you're not allowed to order food on shift No/very little compensation and benefits, even if it says so in the job description

      Hi There, Thanks for your reveiw. Glad you have enjoyed your time at Malmaison. We do offer a range of flexible contracts designed to work around both the employee and the needs of the hotel. These contracts do help maintain a work/ life balance but we do acknowledge that during peak times some shifts may seem longer than others. Ben
