We are sorry that this employee rates his time at Macmillan negatively. We take complaints of racism very seriously. In response, our practice is to conduct an investigation --as we did in the case cited here –and take appropriate action. Terminating someone for making a complaint is unlikely to be an appropriate response. It was not the appropriate action in this instance and it is not what happened in this case. A lot of nice people and great books to work with.

Very antiquated systems. Sales teams and a lot of teams are in bubbles. There are a good amount of managers and higher ups that have been there for a while (10-30 years) and they don't like change, make their teams life hell, and keep them more siloed.
