Pros
Right from the first phase of the interview process, it has been clear to me that the environment at Pcubed New York is a progressive culture of empowerment and self-development. The team are incredibly welcoming with a strong social presence outside the workday, this is especially reassuring and helpful for people like myself who are new to a big daunting city like New York. In the short amount of time I’ve been at Pcubed New York, I already feel both a part of the team and a part of a greater social group of friends. There are a range of interesting engagements available and a real sense of progression and growth at Pcubed as a whole. The hub development workstreams offer an interesting variation on the day-to-day client engagement work and help the hub unit develop a unique identity. I have heard rumblings of a less positive time in the hub under previous leadership, but any negatives from that period have truly been overcome. Also recently a new 401k scheme has been introduced, which was a historic negative. The adage ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ seems truly appropriate as I have never done such hours nor had so much fun and learned so much in my life.
Cons
I’ve not seen any current cons, I would however recommend that if you aren’t keen to work hard and go beyond the 9-5 then some engagements may not be a good fit.
