      Pros

      fast past, constantly changing work. intelligent coworkers. fair/good compensation. There has never been a layoff at Lutron in 50 years. Don't forget free coffee! Ok, seriously, there are lots of perks. good company.

      Cons

      Lutron is a really great place to work. There was a hiring freeze a while back and several departments got short handed. We are digging out of that problem, but it doesn't happen overnight.

      Pros

      Excellent people and good managers. People have positive attitudes and are generally happy to share knowledge. Lots of vacation time and good 401k compared to competitors.

      Cons

      The company appears to offload more and more engineering design work to contractors and outside companies. They also have a kind of "startup culture" and want to be like a tech company but without tech company pay.
