Pros
Very ethical work environment. Very good job security. The work we do is meaningful to the nation and the world. The type of work envolves really cool sensor technology that isn't available anywhere else.
Cons
Defense industry is very conservative in investment risk. Gov't customer requires low profit margin. It's difficult to incentivize employees to grow the business. Pay and promotions seem to stagnate.
