Pros

What got me through my time at ThiveHive was my team. I am grateful to have worked with such great people, and that is the only reason I can give more than 1 star.

Cons

I wish I had more positive things to say about my time at Thrivehive, but alas the majority are negative. For starters, the health insurance is absolutely terrible. The most bare bones plan is EXTREMELY expensive, just for medical, with no drug coverage, a limited network, and a very high deductible. Every person on my team was wildly underpaid for Boston averages, and raises are minimal at best, nonexistent at worse. The company will do anything to cut costs, such as eliminating the holiday party, no bonuses, and 0 employee recognition of any sort. The executives at the company, especially at the C level, are completely unfeeling and emotionally devoid, and take no time to get to know their teams at all. The turnover rate is the highest I have ever seen, and upper management constantly makes poor decisions that results in amazing, high quality employees leaving or being let go. Perhaps the worst of all, however, is the nepotism. I would wager to say that a MINIMUM of a quarter of every team was hired because of who they knew rather than having a single qualification. Sons and nephews of VPs and C-level positions are given jobs with 0 credentials, but those without any “special relations” are treated terribly. I’ve worked at several large companies and I have never seen anything like it. Nepotism truly rules Thrivehive.

Thank you for the comments, and while it's disappointing to read, I appreciate the time you spent at ThriveHive and thank you for your contributions. As companies grow and position themselves for success at scale, often times that can mean difficult changes need to be made, and while never easy for either side, they are made out of fairness and respect to our employees and we stand by those decisions. ThriveHive is a growing and equal opportunity-based place to work, learn, and develop, and at its core is our focus on employee NPS and feedback. As we're entering into our next phase of growth both from a revenue and cultural perspective, we'll keep investing heavily in employees that will help us continue to evolve and establish a culture void of drama, untruths, and toxic behavior, and instead be 100% dedicated to transparency, honesty, learning, empowerment, ownership, diversity, results, and a get stuff done oriented mindset. Thank you again and I'm always happy and willing to chat with you directly. Best, Dan

Pros

Typically sales calls are virtual. Everyone is friendly and I was never micromanaged.

Cons

When you start here, it is difficult to learn due to most everyone working remote. You can't reach over to someone in the next cube/office and ask for help.

Pros

Direct managers really try and seem to care. Flexibility of work from home and PTO is the main benefits here.

Cons

Workloads continue to increase, changes passed down from the top of those that never talk to clients. There have been lots of changes recently. Most are not thought out and issues are NEVER ironed out before implementing. Upper-level management is completely disconnected from reality. Pay is on the low side. Struggling to pay bills on your salary? Jason Taylor(Chief Revenue Officer) suggests a second job or leaving. Annual pay increases? Particularly when the cost of everything has skyrocketed…. Nope. They don’t believe in pay increases.
