Pros
If you are an east coast college grad looking for your first job, sure, go ahead and work here. Just put your time in, then get out and do something at someplace better. Doesn't matter if you are a BDR, or a SDE. Can't really think of any other pros. Would like to say that it is a collection of really smart people, but that just isn't true.
Cons
If you have EVER worked for a tech company, this place will disappoint you every day. There isn't really a vision (it keeps changing), the tech really isn't that good (not a good sign that the CTO is leaving), and one day you'll be told you are awesome, the next you'll be told to leave. They live and die each quarter on sales goals, and the last 30 days of a quarter are unlike anything I have seen. And btw- you will selling a product that was developed to solve a problem...that may actually not exist. This is a company that wants to emulate big tech firms, yet fails at every turn. I have never seen an org celebrate mediocrity the way this company does. And then there is the CEO. Oh...man. Here's his deal...he is a very good salesman. Could sell bottled saltwater to native Hawaiians. Except the problem is, HE would have been the one who came up with the idea to actually bottle saltwater, which is a TERRIBLE business idea! He does this all the time. And then, since he NOT someone who can actually operate a business, he'll push his bad ideas to the team, but can never get them off the ground. He wastes time, money and human capital. You'd think the Board would see this stuff and force either the CEO to get his act together, or change CEOs. But this Board is a collection of wet noodles you have never heard of and aren't really that successful either (again, mediocrity...see the recurring theme here??). I honestly would not recommend this company to anyone. The space they are in is really boring (primarily customer care...yuk). Their solutions aren't really great or innovative. And the CEO and management are unimaginative, and barely above the Mendoza line of incompetence. There are SO MANY better options there. (And if you can figure out why the CEO is wasting time worrying about crypto, you get a gold star. It has nothing to do with his business. But, it is the buzzy, shiny object that has caught his attention, so of course, it is all he talks about).
