Pros

Salary is ok but less than min wage for hours worked, also includes an amount only paid if you opt our of 48 hour min working week, Holiday allowance is good, only offer Statutory sick pay, no staff discount, no mileage allowance travelling to other stores, regional offices etc.

Cons

70+ hours, pressure to opt out of working time directive, culture, deductions from salary for tills/safe being down, covering for other stores mat leave off sick, alarm call ours 24/7.

Pros

Benefits are excellent, most people at the peer level are great. Clear performance expectations. Decent cross functional communication

Cons

Company leadership very European and doesn't quite understand the American consumer even after being in the US so long. Unreasonable expectations are the norm. No upward mobility unless you are European or speak fluent German.
