Company provides you will all the training, tools, and accountability. This would be a great job for people who need to be micromanaged until they feel strong enough to lead on their own. The insurance benighted are great, and you get free glasses every year (plus a ton of product discounts). If you are interested in the eyecare industry, this is a great starting point. Best for entry-level associates who want to learn and put in a few years.
Cons
Moving upward in management takes a long time. I was in a position I wasn't recognized for for three years. With any retail job you have the same cons: unfriendly and impatient customers, working every holiday, working nights and every weekend. For me, the sacrifice of my family wasn't worth it.
