Pros
The benefits are pretty good. The tiered health insurance pay based on salary is awesome!
Cons
Unrealistic expectations (working beyond your scope, way more than 40 hours a week) with little to no support from your direct manager. And then refused any type of promotion or compensation adjustment with that extra work. Someone leaves or goes out on leave? You'll be expected to pick up all of their work with no change to pay or title. Be prepared to be the scapegoat because management doesn't like to take accountability. Information that should reach you, won't, but you'll be blamed for it. It's frowned upon to take your PTO and you will be expected to work while on PTO. Certain managers just don't care about their reports. They seem to think they are robots and should churn out the work yesterday and be available for calls at 9pm. And if you ask for clarity, don't expect a response back. But if another department asks for something they will bend over backwards for them. Processes? They don't like to follow them. Not sure why they even keep them in place at this point. No wonder they are hemorrhaging money.
