Pros
I worked at Landmark for almost three years. The work at Landmark is focused highly on Customer Service, being detail oriented, managing many logistics, and planning all specific travel for Incentive Groups. I began as a Program coordinator and worked my way up to a Program Manager in my three years of working there. I thoroughly enjoyed my work in both positions. You work hard, you are held responsible for many details, and must be able to prioritize your work. In return, you are rewarded with travel opportunities to supervise the trip, promotion to Program Manager, and personal satisfaction with your peers of success. I was constantly challenged in my work and always looked for ways to grow as a better employee and be a better event planner. The work you put in will reap the reward and outcome of your trip’s success. The team is close knit and everyone will help you whenever needed. Landmark operates as one big cross functional team- with that there may be some differences in personality, which you will honestly get anywhere. If you come to work, to work, and are positive and helpful, you will do well.
My experience, unlike some other reviews, was extremely positive. The opportunities and responsibilities I was given were unlike any other job I have had. The reason I left, was due to a long commute from Suburbs to City.
Cons
I have liked to see an improvement in technology. Two computer monitors as a PM would have helped me tremendously. The opportunity to work from home for those with a long commute.
