Pros

You can learn new things. Use your free time to earn some pocket money.

Cons

Not considerate, not understanding mid-managers. The top level management is in their own bubble...laughing playing and all is well...ground level situation is bad. 1. Paid on hourly basis, eg. 2.7 $ per hour, however you will be questioned for quoting your time. Even though you are genuine you are always doubted on. 2. Timelines to deliver the work are not justified. After slogging for day in and day out made only Rs. 6000 per month. 3. You should get back up generator and internet from your pocket, because slightest delay will cause escalation. 4. Somehow did not like the environment and the vibe. 5. I was sacked for taking sudden unplanned leave and overnight all the colleagues stopped talking with me and while logging in the portal said " you no more have access to the database". That's how i came to know that they have thrown me out. Cried all night. But in the morning i was the strongest person on the earth... Thank you Larvol for making me emotionally the strongest person. All my tears dried that night.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your time with LARVOL didn't end on a good note. We understand life happens and people cannot always plan for the unexpected. We would never let anyone go because of taking unplanned time off. This is certainly not the norm within our culture. There are always two sides to a story. I do stand behind the people here who add a lot of value to make us tick. As for the compensation, there are different tiers based on the experience and skillset a Tiger brings. We are committed to continually reviewing our compensation to keep it competitive. All in all I'm sorry we let you down and would be open to discussing if you wish to speak further offline. Wishing you every success in your next steps - thank you for being a part of the LARVOL history.

Pros

opportunities to travel and build relationships within the industry

Cons

This is, without question, the worst place I have ever worked. Leadership is the core issue. The CEO runs the company in an ego-driven, top-down manner where disagreement is seen as disloyalty. Decisions feel reactive, inconsistent, and often disconnected from market reality. There is little to no openness to feedback, and challenging ideas — even constructively — is not welcomed. The turnover rate on the sales team is extremely high, and after working there, it’s easy to understand why. Targets are set and changed arbitrarily, often without data or logic to support them. Expectations are unrealistic and then weaponized when they aren’t met. Despite the company being around for nearly two decades, leadership continues to hide behind the “startup” excuse to justify weekend messages, lack of boundaries, and constant pressure. There is no real work-life balance. You are expected to be available at all times. The culture is fear-based. Messaging around performance frequently centers on how easily you can be replaced. Instead of building a motivated, empowered team, leadership relies on intimidation. Morale is low, and most employees operate carefully to avoid triggering the CEO’s unpredictable reactions. HR, in my experience, was completely ineffective. It does not function as a neutral support system for employees. Concerns go nowhere, and there is no meaningful advocacy when issues involve leadership. You are essentially on your own. There were also serious concerns around financial stability. Compensation and payments were delayed, with explanations tied to the company being in financial trouble. That alone created a significant level of stress and uncertainty. The product itself feels outdated compared to competitors, despite constant internal claims that it’s best-in-class. There appears to be little real awareness of how far ahead other companies in the market have moved.
