base pay AND commission pay is too low.
always a bunch of new policies, technology, and features being released but no incentive to really engage and learn with it. because we get paid too low, we don't care about these new things, nor are we excited about them.
THE PAY IS TOO LOW- I can't stress that enough. Not the commission or "compenstion plan". not the "bonuses". THE BASE PAY.
Due to new policies, the opportunity for CSMs/PSMs to make commission and to upsell is almost non-existent. We can only rely on base pay and it's so low right now, we can't pay our bills.
There's also new policies for any type of adjustment you would like to get an opportunity to close won. For any type of discount, you must seek approvals now. this wastes a lot of unnecessary time.
My team (partner success MSP Per Client team) gets not attention, recognition, and the company hardly knows we exist.
