Pros

Pay was great, just about the only thing that kept me there for 2 years. Lots of chances to improve your skill-set. Every day holds something different.

Cons

Toxic interpersonal culture that goes entirely unchecked and is even encouraged by management, most people are contractors and get no benefits, full employees look down their nose at contractors You don't get any paid time off, and if you take time off, people get mad because the teams are severely understaffed. Never expect or ask for feedback from your boss, they can't give it, and when they do, it's only to your agency. Work holidays, nights and weekends, and be available to take calls and texts after hours (literally all night long) to fix things. If you don't come across as a workaholic and you have a healthy life outside of work, you're the outsider. Super fast paced environment with no bonuses, endless amounts of projects with no opportunity for raises based on your abilities or growth unless you ask for it. But be careful, I sought a promotion and a raise, and someone else did the same and we both got cut. Don't expect respect unless you're gorgeous, young and skinny.

Pros

Work life balance is very good. Opportunity to engage with senior leadership in interesting projects. The collaboration and camaraderie is top tier! The investment into employees is amazing.

Cons

While I love remote work, it can feel isolating to some. It's not for everyone. I find ways to connect with my team and others at Kimberly-Clark. I also do a good job of managing my time and focus. However, if you struggle in those areas a remote job is not the way to go.
