Pros
I cannot see any at the moment, sorry
Cons
KP is by far one of the most toxic places I have worked. The Supply Chain function is in a complete mess, with no clear direction, no real structure, and very little confidence that the current leadership knows how to turn things around. The Head of Supply Chain should be seriously reviewed. From my experience, there has been a consistent lack of leadership, accountability and vision. The same applies to several of the Heads of Department, who appear more interested in protecting their own positions than supporting their teams or improving the business. They have created a clear divide between themselves and the rest of the teams, making collaboration almost impossible. The hierarchy and egos within the leadership team are unbelievable. Instead of listening to employees and encouraging open discussion, there is a culture where people are expected to keep quiet and accept poor decisions. The saddest part is watching talented, experienced people leave one after another. Many people within Supply Chain are actively looking for jobs elsewhere because morale is so low. Unless something changes, this will only continue and the business will lose even more good people. High performers seem to become frustrated and leave, while poor performance is tolerated. It creates the impression that challenging or standing out is neither recognised nor welcomed. I also hope there is a serious review of the Collaboration Head. In my experience, the management approach created an unhealthy working environment and significantly damaged relationships across Supply Chain and with other departments. The business urgently needs an independent review of its leadership, culture and organisational structure because, from where I stand, the future does not look promising if things continue in the same direction. I just don't understand why nothing is being done about it.....
