Nice people and fun brands to work on

Cons

Senior leadership are quite old school and refuse to promote anyone internally. They keep saying it’s coming but it never does. Judging by the other reviews here this is still a common issue within the brand teams at KP. When I was there there were so many others who were overlooked for promotion even when they had years of experience and would be able to hit the ground running vs training someone new up. So glad I left when I did I was overworked just because I thought there was the possibility of a promotion but it’s all lies

Pros

KP does have some strong brands, and the collaboration team is very experienced and good at what they do. Unfortunately, this strength is completely overshadowed by the poor culture and management.

Cons

Working at KP Snacks was an extremely negative experience, and I would never recommend anyone to work there. Employees are treated poorly, and there is no real opportunity for progression, guidance, or development. Management is weak, unapproachable, and fails to provide proper support. The culture within the business is very toxic, with bullying and blame being far too common. HR are ineffective, offering little to no help or advice when issues are raised, and nothing is ever taken seriously. While the company promotes its “values and behaviours” everywhere, in reality, they are not followed or adhered to in the workplace. Overall, it is a deeply disappointing environment where staff wellbeing and growth are not a priority.
