Pros

Leadership that gives their all to the team members here. Specifically, my department's leadership wants to see us succeed and encourages me to continue growing in career experience, leadership and responsibilities. From the top down, our mission trickles into all projects and goals completed by varying departments. I see our leaders trying to make the environment and culture one we are all proud to be a part of. While you can not please everyone, I believe they are trying their best to encourage growth throughout.

Cons

Some team members feel they are better than others, simply because of their tenure within the Ministry. This is on a person to person case and does not, in my opinion, reflect the organization as a whole.

Pros

This is my first time working in a ministry, and the culture at K‑LOVE surpasses any workplace I’ve been part of. The kindness, support, and genuine care for team members truly stand out. My leader champions my growth and actively supports my career path. The benefits and pay have also significantly improved my quality of life. And with exciting NextGen and international efforts expanding our mission to reach more people with the message of Jesus, it’s an incredible time to be here.

Cons

Like any organization, there are leadership decisions I don’t always agree with (such as discontinuing hybrid work), but even on those days, the culture and support here still outshine every workplace I’ve been in.

Pros

The benefits package is competitive and generally in line with what I have experienced at other employers. The people I work with directly are talented, supportive, and genuinely committed to the mission. My immediate team has been the best part of my experience and is the primary reason I have stayed as long as I have.

Cons

Lack of accountability, transparency, and empathy from senior leadership. Six Ministry Leadership Team (MLT) members have left within the past several months, along with numerous employees across multiple departments. The level of turnover should be a clear signal that something is wrong, yet leadership appears unwilling to acknowledge the concerns being raised by staff or examine how recent decisions may be contributing to the problem. Many significant cultural and workplace changes were implemented abruptly, with little employee input or meaningful communication. These decisions have created a more divisive, negative, and distrustful work environment than many employees have experienced previously. For an organization that promotes itself as family-oriented, the changes to the work-from-home policy felt particularly disappointing. The messaging emphasized culture and collaboration, but many employees perceived the change as prioritizing productivity over flexibility and work-life balance. The complete lack of flexibility now has made it more difficult for employees to manage personal responsibilities while maintaining the high level of commitment expected of them. The mission remains meaningful, and there are many talented, dedicated people throughout the organization. Unfortunately, morale continues to decline as leadership appears increasingly disconnected from the experiences and concerns of its employees.
