Cons
I worked way over 40 hours a week. Almost 60! I constantly felt overworked and underpaid. Co managers basically makes 400-450 a week while working 9 10 11 hour shifts and 6 work days. Co managers set pay is for 40 hours and they pay overtime hours by only giving half. My job consist of doing everything and yet selling ALL DAY. I always stayed late or came in early to complete selling goals and finish managerial duties. I had no life balance to do ANYTHING and didn't get much sleep. Not only did I have the high sales goals to accomplish but also hit certain numbers in categories. Yes the managers have to sell more than the associates. Way more, which I found odd. Retail is retail but this was way too much for me. I knew my life would be much better after leaving this company. With over 7 years in retail and my degree, I knew I deserved better. But hey that was just my experience.
