Pros

The work: I get to do projects with the biggest and the most interesting entertainment companies on earth. Those projects aren't rinse and repeat either--each one is unique, so I don't get bored and I don't stop learning new methods and subjects. AND: We achieve a level of quality that I haven't seen consistently from any other firm. We've helped fix misperceptions our clients have, and redirect their ideas onto a more successful path. The colleagues: My bosses help accommodate my downsides while giving me a ton of chances to develop my upsides. I've had 15 employers in my life, they're by far the best in my experience. My peers include a lot of the most intelligent people I've known. They're diverse in background, identity, experience, perspective. The COVID era limited how much I get to be in the same office with them, but we still get along well, digitally and when we're at the office.

Cons

We have 2 or 3 of the biggest gaming companies left to work with, and same for movie studios. A couple of clients, out of about 100, are a huge pain to work with. Not saying who, because they already know who they are.

Pros

Most employees are kind and helpful! Some teams have a strong sense of comradery Fully remote job This company has no real threatening competitors Inclusive when it comes to hiring

Cons

Very bad work-life balance Some other teams at the company are treated as "less than," which leads to a very toxic work culture If they can get away with paying you as little as possible, they will Many people are doing the work of 2-3 different jobs while being paid minimum wage Narrow views on career advancement Lack of real competition allows them to compensate employees poorly
