Pros
Even in a slowing economy, studies have shown that people will not give up their computers or internet connectivity. Intel creates a viable product with a global footprint that allows it to be competative even during harder times. Innovation and creativity is reflected in the companies 80% market share, and management understands it is the employees that make this happen. Benefits are market competative, opportunity is greater than anywhere I have seen. Great products, bright future, and being rewarded fairly makes Intel a great place to work.
Cons
Intel hires the brightet people in the industry. Advanced degrees are par for the course, those degrees (in most cases) coming from tier one universities. If you are looking to stand our immediately or be a big fish in a small pond, it is very hard to do here.
