Innovar group has been such an amazing opportunity and a complete 180 compared to my former Recruiting/Staffing experience. Before accepting my position at Innovar Group, I was afraid to continue in Staffing based on my past experience, I was even considering leaving the recruiting industry entirely. I am thankful that I decided to work at Innovar group, as everything that was wrong with my past employer, Innovar group does right! In my previous position you were assigned to an Account Manager, and you solely worked on their positions. When your manager didn’t have any open/active positions for you to work, as a recruiter your commission and day to day workflow was impacted. You were stuck in a cycle of only being able to MPC candidates to try and find business, but not being able to send out meaningful submittals out or being able to even work on other Account Managers open positions. Innovar fixes this issue by having every recruiter report to the Executive Vice President, who oversees allocating where each recruiter is assigned to work a given day/week. The Executive Vice President puts recruiters on the best available opportunities and is very supportive of the team and each individual. This allows recruiters the ability to always work positions that can be filled, and you can be allocated to any Account Manager. This prevents you from being stuck only being tied to one Account Manager or a bad position to work on. This encourages Account Managers to find good business otherwise the recruiters will not be assigned to it as a priority, this also allows the recruiters to be held accountable for the activity on the position they are assigned. I love how Innovar group has a reoccurring book of business and clients that they have worked with for years. Its nice as a recruiter know that they won’t run out of opportunities for you to work on. Innovar Group really does care about our contractors, they are not just butts in seats. Innovar Group has amazing culture that is backed by an incredible management and leadership team. The Founder/ CEO and Executive Vice President do an amazing job of leading the company and I truly see them as servant leaders. They make it a company I am excited to work for each day and I feel supported by them. Even the Vice President, through the Account Managers and Recruiters make it such an enjoyable company culture to be a part of. I have even seen Innovar Group take steps to prevent any kind of toxic environment. Innovar Group gives you a platform to continue to refine your skill, teammates are willing to help each other grow even in a competitive environment. Recruiters and sales are seen as equals in the company. The sales must even incorporate the recruiting team on every qualification call so that they are equally involved in the process and understanding each position. Innovar Group provides several awesome benefits. They pay for our Recruiting tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Bull Horn, Dice, indeed. They are flexible with when you can take PTO. Recently they have changed the contribution levels for the healthcare benefits to better supportive the team. We currently have the flexibility of working on a hybrid schedule in office/remote from home. Every team member is valued and it has given me a since of job security.

Cons

No issues at this time, it has been a fun opportunity!

Pros

There are no pros working here because management lies about everything, unless you are a mother, then management gives you some grace.

Cons

management has no management training or leadership skills ,low pay, absurdly expensive benefits, confusing commission that is not explained well, and questions are never answered, an uncomfortable work environment, resources are not provided to all recruiters, they tried to get me to pay for LinkedIn Recruiter out of my own pockets, they do not match market for compensation. Not a fair amount of time off for recruiters. If you don't have a kid and you want to take a sick day- it's an issue with the bosses. If you commute via train and you want to wfh on a snow day, it's an issue (although when they hire you, they tell you they are flexible about WFH). Recruiters do half of the Sales person's job and Sales gets all the compensation
