Pros
They will pay you (or at least, most people say paychecks arrive on time) You might get “interesting projects” or autonomy in certain roles Some employees speak of good colleagues or peers
Cons
Toxic leadership — They don’t hire strong leaders, just ones who protect the investors and ignore the employees. Fake communication — “Townhalls” and team meetings are one-way broadcasts. They don’t ask for questions because they don’t want to hear how people really feel. High turnover — People leave constantly, and leadership seems unfazed. It’s part of the cycle here. No career growth — Training and development are an afterthought, and promotions rarely happen. Chaotic structure — Constant acquisitions and reorganizations make it impossible to know where you stand. PE culture — The private equity backing drives decisions. Everything is about cutting costs and prepping for the next sale, not about building a sustainable company.
