The recruiter wasn’t honest throughout the process. While I didn’t think the interview went horribly, I’ve since been ghosted without any feedback. Unfortunately, this seems to be happening more and more with companies and recruiters, and it’s extremely disrespectful to candidates who take the time to prepare and engage.
Given the company’s already low rating, I’m not surprised. First impressions matter, and the recruiter is often the first person a candidate interacts with—if that experience is dismissive or misleading, it sets a very negative tone for the entire organization.
