Pros
Tech Support has some of the best on the job training I have ever experienced. And for the most part there is a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing that makes you genuinely happy to come into work each day. There are lots of little perks as well - vendor swag , food and the odd paid for industry certification. Health insurance and other benefits are also excellent.
Cons
This will echo what a lot of other technicians have said. There are a very few tech oriented options for career advancement here once you get to TS II. This has been steadily changing over the past few years but these spots are few and far between and competition is fierce. Many technicians who are not selected will eventually be forced to pick a vendor job or a position in sales to keep progressing their career.
