A hot mess - Graphic Designer Imaware Employee Review

Being in the health industry, it is great to have leadership that is empathetic and puts people first. There are growing pains (as with any start-up) but the transparency and inclusion makes the imaware™ team feel like a family. - Competitive pay - Great culture (No pressure to compete with one another, coworkers are always willing to help, fun activities) - Lots of potential in the health tech industry for growth

Great location for local employees (middle of downtown). Very competitive salaries and they even pay for parking when we come in to the office. Fun happy hours and game nights to create team bonding. Ability to work from home or come in to the office to collaborate. A solid new leadership team truly leading the company with clear mission and vision. President/CEO brought in some powerhouse leaders and they are great. Lots of change, but truly for the better. Great transparency and support as we make changes from COVID to healthcare.

Benefits and PTO policy is not as robust as other Austin companies (hoping this can improve). There have been many of the original team members who have left recently creating some uncertainty, but it’s probably for the better because we need new focused leaders with true experience and who can make the hard decisions. Imaware tried to do too much for everyone and also solve for COVID. Now that we are going back to a healthcare focused approach, it’s great to have people here who actually know what it takes to make that happen.
