Pros
Opening and closing the clinic is done independently. Lots of downtime to complete tasks and enjoy time with co-workers. Sometimes flexible hours to leave early for the day depending appointments. We kept our clinic spotless, stocked and a minimal aesthetic, which created an enjoyable environment.
Cons
Little to no incentives and commission structure is almost unattainable. Leads are filtered through consultants, before they schedule or purchase products. Minimal walk in inquiries for opportunities to make sales. Most clients work with consultants of the company who have more flexibility to incentivize dollar amount to complete sales. It’s almost impossible to make sales. The Nurses compete for sales or percentage of sales to also earn their potential. It becomes overly competitive creating conflict between the departments. If you’re lucky to work with a good team that works together it’s bearable. One wrong employee who plays unfair creates an instant toxic environment because there is not supervision or consequence and people can get away with the most before anything is done.
