Pros
Work with some decent people and you're entirely responsible for your own schedule. Like being dedicated to a single sponsor and only focusing on their SOPs.
Cons
Ridiculous monitoring unit credit system where remote visits (including the the ever present SQVs) only count for half a day even when you're spending multiple days interacting with sites and report writing. Absurdly long reimbursement period for travel expenses. I routinely have expense reports approved by my line manager not get paid out for >10 business days post approval.
