We’ve seen the feedback on our recent post about Week of Rest and appreciate the chance to clarify. This year, we made a shift — instead of a shared, company-wide break, we offered employees more flexibility to take time off when it made the most sense for them and their teams. Many still chose to take that same week to recharge, but our post didn’t reflect that change as clearly as it could have.
We know how important time off is — for rest, mental health, and showing up as our best selves. We’re glad so many HubSpotters were able to unplug, and we’re deeply appreciative of those who continued supporting our customers and colleagues during that time. We’ll be more mindful moving forward to make sure what we share publicly reflects the full picture.
