Pros
I like the flexible schedule, which allows teammates to pick up kids and deal with the many responsibilities with modern work. The pay is also good, with generous bonuses which reflect our team's specific contributions. Medical benefits help make life easier, and the 100% 401k match on 6% of base+bonus is pretty helpful too. From a team perspective, we have added a lot of high IQ/EQ talent to the Empower team, and management seems willing to make quick changes in response to team feedback -- including some tough choices from time to time. I suspect the rising tide will be good for long-term growth. The group smashed 2022 goals and probably will for next year too. Looking forward to it. The roadmap and potential of products in this company are very exciting.
Cons
The flexible schedule cuts both ways at times since we are expected to do what is best for customers. My only other complaint is remote work can make it harder to meet people and budgets don't always allow the R&D teams to travel as much as sales, or other business functions.
