Pros
In my opinion the work culture within Royal HaskoningDHV is great and human. Clear communication of expectations towards eachother. Respect is very important, between peers, but also between manager - employee. Not much hierarchy - you can definitely tell your boss if you don't agree or suggest differently (respectfully). Most people are open for feedback and improvement. Generally, I have good managers. People are motivated, and also expect good quality output from me, but respect towards my personal life is also important. When I need help, my colleagues and manager have my back. (This is both for the Dutch office and Singapore office I worked for), Sometimes when I am working too hard, my colleagues step in and offer help, even without asking. Skillful / capable colleagues. One of the market leaders in flood safety / climate resilience (Water). RHDHV gives the opportunity/flexibility to grow in a direction you are interested in, and also try out different things. Many different opportunities to develop yourself.
Cons
Salary in other industries than civil engineering is sometimes better I think.
