Pros
I can't stress enough how great the work environment is here. Having my fair share of experience in horrible company cultures, being a part of Guidewire is like a constant breath of fresh air. It's easy to get sucked in to the idea that all those little start-up perks are needed, especially in Silicon Valley, but at the end of the day I'd rather be part of a company that puts the priority in its people than have a bad environment and try and make up for it with nap pods and every-day catered meals. On top of that, our benefits are solid, if not above the average provided by other software companies. Guidewire is a great place to build your career. It may not be the most well known or fanciest product to appeal to younger generations, but when you take all of the flash and lights away, I know for a fact that there isn't a company out there that I would be getting better experience and support from. The management truly wants you to succeed and grow, regardless of whether or not you're in it for the long run at Guidewire, and they are more than willing to invest in you. People truly care here.
Cons
There really are no cons at this point, but I can rest assured knowing that if there were any-management would diligently work on addressing them.
